(Physician/MD qualifications required) Psychiatry (General) - Major Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York, major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking an Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist to join our staff.

The Department of Psychiatry includes the Division of Inpatient Psychiatry (14 bed acute Inpatient Psychiatry unit, consults to Med-Surg inpatients at several affiliate hospitals, and consults to the Emergency Departments), and the Division of Outpatient Psychiatry (OMH-licensed clinic in Cooperstown NY) with satellites throughout the Bassett Network and extensive Telepsychiatry services
A diverse psychiatric team of MDs, PMHNPs, and Therapists.
Responsible for psychiatric evaluations and assessments
Prescribe and manage medications
NP collaboration|supervision
Occasional consult Liaison coverage including tele psych to other hospitals in the network
Combination of tele psych and in person coverage
Inpatient call no more than 1:5 weekdays and 1 weekend per month
Interaction with medical students as well as Internal Medicine and Transitional residents
EPIC EMR
The Medical Center is a designated National Health Services Corp Site
Salary Range: $295,006 - $330,000. This compensation range represents This Healthcares good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
Sign-on Bonus up to $200,000
