This Position reports to: Engineering Manager - AMR Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. As an AMR Controls/IT Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering design and deployment of AMR Fleet management software at customer facilities, building standard libraries to improve programming efficiency, and developing new software interfaces for new product offerings and improvements. The work model for this role is: Onsite #LI-Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: Offering technical advice and solutions to customers, channels, and Sales Specialists regarding ABB products, systems, and applications. Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the best technical solutions for customer needs and complex inquiries. Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities, resolving specific customer problems, and achieving targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS). Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth across all assigned product groups and countries. Qualifications for the role: High School Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s Degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Candidates must already have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
