Job Duties: Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the strategic plan for Guidon Design's healthcare practice, ensuring alignment with the firm's overarching goals. Analyze market trends to position the company as a leader in healthcare design and engineering. Collaborate with executive leadership to establish and achieve annual growth targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Business Development, Client Engagement, and Thought Leadership Cultivate and sustain relationships with healthcare clients, including hospitals, healthcare systems, and government entities such as the VA and DoD. Identify new project opportunities and lead pursuit efforts, including proposal development and presentations. Partner with marketing and sales teams to create targeted campaigns and thought leadership materials. Represent Guidon at industry events through white papers, presentations, and conferences. Project Leadership Oversee complex healthcare projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Provide technical expertise, conduct design reviews, and perform risk assessments. Ensure projects comply with industry regulations and sustainability standards. Team Management and Mentorship Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the healthcare practice. Identify and mentor subject matter experts as future practice leaders. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Encourage cross-functional collaboration among architecture, engineering, and sustainability teams. Operations and Financial Management Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to achieve financial objectives. Leverage EOS tools such as Rocks and Scorecards to align team performance with company goals. Drive operational efficiency and implement process improvements across the healthcare practice. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Professional registration required. 15+ years of experience in healthcare architecture or engineering, including leadership and project management roles. Extensive knowledge of healthcare facility design, including applicable codes, regulations, and accreditation standards. Demonstrated success in business development with a proven ability to secure healthcare projects. Experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary teams in a collaborative setting. Familiarity with sustainability practices; LEED or WELL certification is a plus. Knowledge of VA and DoD healthcare projects or experience with government contracts is highly preferred. ACHA Board Certified Healthcare Architect designation is strongly preferred.
