Oyster City Brewing Company is looking for a HIGHLY motivated Part-Time Assistant Bar Manager for our location in Apalachicola, FL.

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic leader for the retail side of Oyster City Brewing Company in Apalachicola, FL.This individual will ideally have some managing experience as well asrestaurant and/or bartending experience.Experience in the craft beer industry is especiallyappropriate.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and create schedule for bartender shifts
• Bartending as needed.
• Managing / balancingcash.
• Overall appearance and cleanliness of the taproom and customer areas
• Maintain and clean draft equipment and all related retail customer equipment (i.e.crowlerseamer, outside kegerators,drinkingwater fountain, walk-in taproom cooler, reach-in retail cooler, under counter refrigerators)
• Taproom events and food vendors (i.e. Woofstock, vendor markets, food trucks, etc.)
• Personal developmentin areas of craft beer knowledge and education.Essentially this means taking an active interest in the culture and knowledge of the industry and its products.
• Develop a culture of enthusiasm for craft beer and work with staff to increase knowledge of craft beer
• Report directly to the General Manager at our Tallahassee, FL location.
• Worka minimum of20 hours per week

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to develop and coach team members.
