As a Family Dollar Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations. Your duties include maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Greeting and assisting customers positively, resolving inquiries and concerns. Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, well-stocked store. Supervising, training, and developing Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance. Unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items from stockroom to store. Assisting in ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling. Supporting loss prevention efforts. Taking on management responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence. Following all company policies and procedures. Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives. Retail, grocery, or drug store management experience preferred. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs, and to perform physical activities like walking, standing, and climbing. Flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Skills: Customer focus, developing potential, results-driven, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
