Applications are invited for a position in bio-organic chemistry at open rank. We are seeking candidates with outstanding credentials and demonstrated leadership skills. This search is part of a multi-hire initiative to enhance the Department of Chemistry at Tulane. Candidate will be able to take advantage of the close proximity of the Department of Chemistry to the Medical School, the Primate Center and engineering departments of Tulane. The candidate should also demonstrate commitment to teaching excellence. Competitive startup funds will be provided. Applicants must submit a cover letter summarizing their background, a curriculum vita with a list of publications, and a summary of their research plans (five pages maximum). Applicants should also arrange to have three letters of reference submitted by people who know them well. In order to ensure full consideration, all application materials must be received by August 15, 2025. Applications from women and underrepresented minorities are strongly encouraged.
