Ideal candidates should have at least a year of professional bakery experience under their belt, be that pastry or bread focused. This is not an ego-driven kitchen. Employees must have a hunger for knowledge and a drive to improve their work and themselves on a daily basis. They should also be empathetic, kind, intuitive and communicative. The job itself will cover all aspects of bread making: leaven management, mixing, fermention, shaping and eventually baking a diverse selection of bread products. Candidates must be comfortable with a full time schedule starting dark and early in the mornings (4AM to start) and must understand that this is a physically demanding job.The Kerryman Bar & Restaurant is an award winning establishment that has been open in River North for over 20 years.
