Responsibilities We are looking for a forward-thinking Building Performance Analyst to join our innovative Building Sciences team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability and data-driven design solutions who is eager to shape the future of high-performance buildings. You will play a key role in advancing our 2030 Challenge commitments by driving technical excellence and promoting best practices in building performance analysis. As an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver quantifiable insights that inform smarter design decisions, aligning environmental goals with aesthetic and functional success. Key Responsibilities Performance Analysis & Modeling: Conduct and interpret analyses including detailed whole-building energy modeling for ASHRAE 90.1 compliance and LEED, early-stage energy modeling, solar radiation and daylighting studies, shadow studies, wind analysis, wall assembly evaluations, climate and occupant comfort analysis. Inform design development with performance-driven results and actionable recommendations. Quantify and visually communicate energy conservation measures and renewable energy feasibility. Collaboration & Reporting: Partner with design teams to integrate technical insights, develop visual reports, and train staff on performance tools. BIM Workflows & Tool Development: Create standardized modeling practices, develop BIM-based analysis tools, and support energy code compliance and certification processes. Leadership & Advocacy: Serve as a technical expert, promote performance-driven design, and contribute to industry forums. Additional Opportunities: Engage in green building certifications, post-occupancy evaluations, and computational design projects depending on skills. Qualifications Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Sciences, or related field. At least 2 years of experience in building performance analysis, sustainability consulting, or energy modeling. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Credentials like BEMP, PE, LEED AP are preferred. Technical proficiency with IES Virtual Environment, EnergyPlus/OpenStudio, ASHRAE standards, Rhino/Grasshopper, Revit, and other tools as listed. Excellent communication skills, ability to operate independently, and collaborate across disciplines. Must be a US citizen and able to obtain security clearance. Desirable Skills Experience with various building types, energy audits, benchmarking, CFD analysis, daylighting tools, and automation of workflows. Why Join Page?
