Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated, aggressive Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our expanding sales team. This individual will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and initiating contact with new business opportunities across North America. You will be the tip of the spear driving growth by uncovering high-value prospects, engaging decision-makers, and setting the table for our Sales Engineers to close major CNC machine deals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect daily via cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, and trade network connections
• Research and qualify leads using CRM, web tools, and industry data
• Set up discovery calls, meetings, and demos for Sales Engineers/Product Specialists. Work closely with marketing to align outreach with campaigns and content
• Attend industry trade shows, plant visits, and regional events to build pipeline
• Maintain accurate activity logs and funnel reporting in the CRM

What We’re Looking For:

• Hunter mentality — thrives on outbound activity and competition
• Strong communication skills with comfort speaking to owners, engineers, and buyers
• Highly organized and self-directed with time management skills
• Understanding of manufacturing or machinery sales is a strong plus
• Positive attitude, thick skin, and a desire to grow in the role

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or industrial prospecting
• Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Monday.com, Salesforce)
• Willingness to travel (up to 25%) for events, customer visits, or site research
• Technical interest or background in CNC machinery, fabrication, or automation is a bonus
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required if you have grit and results

The Multiax facility includes 7,400 square feet of warehouse/showroom space where CNC machines are set up for performing customer sales discussions, training, and demos. We have a large spare parts area for organizing and shipping spare parts as needed by our customers. In addition, 1,200 square feet of office space with conference and training room.
