Role Overview Chartis is seeking a talented Recruiter to attract top talent and deliver a high‑touch, personalized candidate experience at the campus and early career levels. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, organized, and passionate about making an impact in a dynamic, high‑growth organization. As an integral member of the Talent Acquisition Team, the Recruiter will lead our growing campus recruiting efforts, internship program, and experienced early‑career hiring. Responsibilities Partner with firm leaders to develop campus strategy; ensure branding and messaging across each recruiting channel is consistent with the Chartis mission and value proposition. Plan and execute a series of high‑touch campus recruiting events and marketing efforts on‑campus, at Chartis offices, and virtually; account for events in the budget each season. Identify and build relationships with target candidates, manage a high volume of applications, and plan and execute large‑scale interview days both virtually and in Chartis offices. Leverage competitive intelligence and recruiting season results to identify areas for improvement and drive changes to the campus strategy each year. Work in partnership with the campus team to recommend campus compensation each season. Ensure the program budget is adhered to throughout the season. Partner with the Talent teams to lead the Summer Internship program. Manage recruiting efforts for experienced hires at the early‑career level during Spring and Summer; proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, online databases, social media sites, and employee referrals. Independently negotiate and structure offers, ensuring we win talent while stewarding the firm’s resources; facilitate offer approval processes and build alignment among stakeholders. Support ongoing refinements to existing recruiting processes and systems. Qualifications and Desired Skills Bachelor’s degree required. 5 years of work experience, with 2‑3 years focused on campus recruiting ideally in a professional services firm environment. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly and passionately articulate the Chartis value proposition and listen exceptionally well. Flexible and a self‑starter; able to manage multiple responsibilities and processes independently while remaining detail‑oriented. Ability to develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels throughout the firm. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and applicant tracking systems. Willingness to be in the Chicago office as needed and ability to travel occasionally to campus recruiting events and firm meetings. Salary range: $70,000–$95,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus.
