Key Responsibilities as a CDL A Instructor:

• Delivering CDL A Training : Provide hands-on instruction in Pre-Trip, Yard Skills, and Road Driving
• Safety-Focused : Emphasize safe, professional driving practices in every session
• Supporting Student Success : Help students prepare for the CDL exam
• Local Schedule : Consistent hours with no overnight travel – be home daily

CDL A Instructor Requirements:

• Kansas CDL Class A license with 24+ months of verified tractor-trailer driving experience
• Clean driving record, with ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol tests
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and tracking student progress
• Strong communication skills and a passion for safety and teaching
