About the Role
The Company is in need of an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Vice President (EVP) with a strong background in Mortgage Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial operations of the Mortgage Banking division, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires the ability to provide strategic financial guidance, manage relationships with external stakeholders, and lead complex financial transactions. The CFO/EVP will also be instrumental in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and will provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development. Applicants for the CFO/EVP position at the company must have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in Mortgage Banking, with a focus on Mortgage Servicing Rights, Capital Markets, and Mergers and Acquisitions. A proven track record as a CFO or in a similar executive role, particularly within a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) environment, is essential. The role demands a candidate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, strong analytical skills, experience in financial modeling and analysis, and excellent communication and leadership abilities. The CFO/EVP will be expected to have experience in managing a team of financial professionals and be adept at building strong relationships both internally and externally.
