This role oversees the company's Aircraft Rescue Firefighting (ARFF) program. This role also oversees the company's fire prevention program and various inspection requirements. Responsible for coordination with local fire authorities and managing those relationships. Requires sound judgment and discretion as well as the ability to effectively manage the ARFF team and emergency scenes. The Chief ARFF will be proactive and interact with other company employees, contractors, customers, and regulatory agencies in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Fire Services, Emergency Management or related field preferred
Must have at least 5 years of experience as a firefighter plus the below certifications & license:
ARFF experience/certification preferred
Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
Must successfully complete all training and obtain all required permits, licenses, and certifications for the site
