About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Public Safety Officer to provide strategic leadership and vision for the public safety department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the department's practices and objectives align with the company's mission, and for fostering positive relations with the local community. This role involves overseeing the integration of public safety services into the campus community, leading a team of public safety officers and staff, and working closely with various stakeholders on emergency management responses. The Chief will also be tasked with administration and compliance, staff leadership and development, operations, and strategic collaboration with local, regional, and state law enforcement and emergency response officials. Applicants for the Chief Public Safety Officer position at the company should have a bachelor's degree, a minimum of 5 years of law enforcement or security experience in a management capacity, and a strong knowledge of relevant laws and current issues in public safety and private security.
