Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Clinical Documentation Specialist - REMOTE: - Conducting concurrent medical record reviews
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Ensuring compliance with MS-DRG classification and CMS regulations
- This is a 6-month contract with potential for permanent placement
Required Skills for Clinical Documentation Specialist - REMOTE: - Medical degree (IMG) or RN license
- Minimum of 2-3 years as a Clinical Documentation Specialist
- Experience with OBGYN, Pediatrics, or Inpatient Psychiatry is preferred
- Quality-based reviews, mortality reviews, and risk adjustment tool experience
- CCDS or CCDIP certification
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
