CNC Programmer/Operator I (Direct Hire)
PROMAN Staffing is proud to partner with our client to source and hire for this role.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator I with strong MasterCam programming experience to join our client’s growing team. This is a hands-on, direct hire opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced machine shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently program complex parts and contours using Mastercam and operate CNC machines to prove out programs.
• Create, edit, and save G-Code programs ; perform manual programming for one-off and on-demand parts.
• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, and cutter comp adjustments.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools to ensure tolerances are met.
• Tear down setups, maintain machine readiness, and ensure fluid levels and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with leadership on tooling and programming improvements.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of machine shop experience or trade school graduate.
• Proficiency in Mastercam programming .
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, machining practices, and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Ability to troubleshoot machining errors and communicate corrective actions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
