We're partnered with a high-growth public company in the health and wellness space. With a mission-driven culture and a focus on helping people lead healthier lives, the legal team plays a key role in supporting the organization's growth and daily operations.

They're looking to bring on a transactional attorney to support a broad range of commercial matters across the business. This is a great opportunity for junior attorneys who are excited to work across a variety of contracts and business initiatives with exposure to senior leadership. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Legal, this position offers opportunity for skilled development and career growth within a collaborative, fact-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial agreements (vendor, licensing, NDAs, etc.)
• Advise senior leadership on legal risks and structuring strategies for business transactions
• Support cross-functional teams with contract review and guidance
• Conduct research and analysis relevant to operations and regulatory issues
• Help maintain corporate compliance and internal recordkeeping
• Assist with continual improvement of contract management system, templates, and processes

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in CA
• 2-5 years of commercial transactional experience (law firm or in-house)
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Collaborative, business-minded, and solutions-oriented
