RJ O'Neil is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Union Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in both commercial and industrial settings. As a union journeyman, you will work under the guidelines and standards set forth by the union, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, ventilation, and refrigeration units.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues, performing necessary repairs or replacements.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Supervise and mentor apprentices, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with union standards.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of system operations and maintenance tips.
- Stay updated on the latest industry technologies, tools, and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications:
- Valid HVAC Journeyman license or certification.
- Membership in a recognized HVAC union.
- Minimum of [7] years of experience as a Commerical HVAC journeyman.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid drivers license.
