The Community Access Advocate serves as a self-advocate and peer leader, supporting other individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to understand their rights, promote inclusion, and navigate access under the HCBS Final Rule. This role actively participates in advocacy, community education, and leadership development efforts while providing peer-to-peer support and training. This role is currently grant funded and currently scheduled to sunset on 3/31/26.
