Compliance Manager needed!! Hybrid-Irvine, CA

Join our client’s dynamic team as a Compliance Manager in our Hybrid-Irvine, CA office. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring our business units adhere to state and federal regulations, specifically focusing on Mortgage Banking and Servicing compliance. Your keen attention to detail and exceptional communication skills will play a pivotal role in maintaining our company’s compliance integrity.

Required Skills:

• Exceptional analytical, writing, and speaking skills
• Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and general computer applications
• Knowledge of federal regulations including Dodd-Frank Act, Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and more
• Minimum of ten years of experience in mortgage compliance

Need to Have Skills:

• Prior experience with Corporate Licensing and compliance communication efforts
• Familiarity with HUD Leap, CFPB portal, and state law trackers
• Presentation/training skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Fifteen or more years of experience in the mortgage industry
• Ten years of experience in mortgage compliance

Other Requirements:

• Ability to travel for State Examinations and vendor management tasks
• Maintain access to various portals for regulatory filings
• Ensure mandatory compliance training for all employees annually
