Job Description
DAY TO DAY:
Your day will involve a variety of tasks centered around CAD, mapping, and 3D modeling. You'll start by interpreting notes and sketches to perform technical computations and produce large-scale, complex drawings. You'll also assist in creating plans, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys. Understanding standards revolving roadway geometrics, topographic survey and boundary survey. They will have an opportunity to conduct analysis and configuration of CAD systems, processes, and standards, with the goal of improving the efficiency of our production teams and the quality of their output. This can include the development of automation scripts, integration of CAD systems with other design and analysis tools. Another key deliverable will be developing production measurements and a training curriculum based on staff needs and/or new software releases. Role also requires coordination with vendors, consultants and workgroups to keep this client current with industry standards, procedures and technology.
