Job Description

Role Summary :

The Construction Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating with architects, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timelines and budgets are met while maintaining the highest quality of work. Excellent communication skills and a proven track record in problem-solving and conflict resolution are essential. The successful candidate will have a passion for construction and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each custom home reflects the unique vision and needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery : Plan, coordinate, and deliver construction projects according to client specifications. Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards.

  • Client Satisfaction : Proactively communicate and set expectations with clients and designers to ensure all specifications are met and clients are very satisfied.

  • Vendor & Subcontractor Relations : Maintain strong relationships with high-quality vendors and subcontractors.

  • Resource Management : Effectively allocate and manage onsite resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure the smooth progression of projects and optimize operational efficiency.

  • Problem Resolution : Address and resolve onsite challenges promptly, minimizing project delays and disruptions to maintain project timelines and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Compliance & Safety : Ensure that all construction activities comply with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies, creating a safe and compliant work environment.

  • Team Leadership : Lead and motivate field teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years Superintendent or Assistant Project Management experience with homebuilding background, ideally custom home ($2.5m - $5m+)
  • Degree : Construction Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent Construction Bachelor's Programs
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Desire to grow, and receptive to training.
  • Software: Buildertrend

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 + Benefits & Bonus - Negotiable for the right candidate
