Controller
Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to advance your career in a dynamic and growing environment? LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Controller for our commercial real estate client. This role offers the opportunity to oversee accounting functions and contribute to the financial success of a leading organization, with potential growth into a CFO position.
Primary responsibilities of the Controller role:
Oversee day-to-day accounting functions and manage property accounting team
Develop and improve accounting processes and procedures
Ensure accurate financial reporting for properties and investment funds
Manage financial statement audits and tax return preparation
Assist CFO with monthly financial reports and budgeting processes
Provide staffing evaluations and recommendations for the accounting team
Primary qualifications:
CPA designation required
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management
Experience in real estate or property management accounting preferred
Strong knowledge of accounting systems, preferably Yardi and Avid
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills
