Job Title: Fleet Service Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Service Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our customers vehicles. The ideal candidate will ensure that all vehicles are maintained in optimal condition, manage a team of technicians and Planners, and implement efficient processes to enhance fleet performance.

Key Responsibilities;

- Manage the daily operations of the fleet service department, ensuring timely and effective scheduling of all technicians.

- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize vehicle uptime and reliability.

- Supervise and train a team of technicians and planners, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.

- Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections in compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate vehicle usage and ensure availability for operational needs.

- Manage inventory of parts and supplies, on service vans.

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fleet management technology.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in fleet management or a related field.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.

- Proficient in using fleet management software and tools.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
