BuzzBallz is a manufacturer of ready-to-drink cocktails. We are growing and seeking a Kitchen Manager/Chef for our team. The role is responsible for oversight and direction in a company-based kitchen, preparing daily meals for 750 employees.
The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for:
· Oversee kitchen staff while training and leading cooking techniques
· Managing inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service
· Streamlining the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times
· Develop and maintain the weekly/monthly menu
· Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels
· Tracking kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste
· Work with leadership to accommodate changing business needs and employees requests
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:? Can read, write, and speak English
? Spanish speaking preferred
? Possess at least 2 years or more work experience in a kitchen, food handling workplace
? Knowledge of food safety and food handling
? Knowledge to perform tasks necessary to achieve food quality and safety in the workplace
? Can work independently with minimal oversight and complete task with honesty and integrity
? Food safety/food handling certification (preferred)
? Can work in a fast-paced environment
? Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
? Can adhere to company GMPs, PPEs, and safety policies and protocols
