About Our Client: Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for a Classroom Trainer. This role supports employee training and development initiatives to enhance compliance, skills growth, and organizational culture. Our client is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality services to individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, or behavioral health challenges.
Job Description: The Classroom Trainer will develop and implement training programs designed to support onboarding, compliance, and employee development. The Trainer will deliver engaging learning experiences in various settings and contribute to cultivating a positive organizational culture through training and employee engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, organize, and deliver onboarding, orientation, and skills training sessions.
- Create innovative instructional materials, including lesson plans and audiovisual aids.
- Facilitate in-person, virtual, and off-site training sessions, occasionally outside regular business hours.
- Conduct training aligned with regulatory requirements to ensure organizational compliance.
- Assess training program effectiveness and implement updates to improve outcomes.
- Evaluate and refine standard operating procedures for training processes.
- Collaborate with employee engagement groups to promote a positive work culture.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience in adult training and development.
- Familiarity with technology systems used for employee training.
- Ability to work varied hours and travel as needed for training purposes.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must pass State Police Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse History Clearance, and FBI Clearance if not a PA resident.
Additional Details: - Initial orientation and training will occur on-site in Erie, PA.
- Candidates will complete a 5-10 minute presentation as part of the interview process.
- Limited travel is required.
- Typical work hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
