This hybrid role requires expertise in threat detection, risk assessment, incident response, and network security to safeguard our systems, data, and assets. The ideal candidate will proactively identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and implement security best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations and protect our business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Threat Detection & Prevention: Identify and mitigate cyber threats, including malware, ransomware, phishing, and insider threats.
• Network Security: Monitor, maintain, and enhance firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, and other network security measures.
• Incident Response: Investigate security breaches, conduct forensic analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Vulnerability Management: Regularly assess systems for vulnerabilities, apply patches, and enforce security policies.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to security regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA) and mortgage industry compliance standards.
• Security Awareness Training: Educate employees on cybersecurity risks and best practices.
• Cloud & Endpoint Security: Implement security controls for cloud platforms and endpoint protection solutions.
• Access Control & Identity Management: Enforce least privilege access, manage user authentication, and oversee identity and access management (IAM).
• Security Audits & Reporting: Conduct security audits, analyze findings, and generate reports for leadership.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Required Skills:

• Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity, IT security, or related roles.

Preferred Skills:

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and encryption. Hands-on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability scanning tools. Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps principles. Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
• Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities.
