Performs data entry and verification of data files.
Transcribes source documents into acceptable formats.

May operate control stations, tape drives, disk drives, or consoles.
Performs related work as assigned.
GENERAL QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES
Experience and Training
Experience in data entry work. Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent is generally preferred. Experience and training may be substituted for each other.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Knowledge of data entry equipment and office practices and procedures.
