We are currently assisting our client, a global leader in enterprise-grade data analytics and AI solutions, in their search for a Data Scientist in Mountain View, CA. This is a full-time permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing
• Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms
• Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production
• Generate actionable insights for business improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
• 3+ Years of Banking / Payments analytics experience preferably in a consulting set-up
• Strong experience of developing and deploying Predictive/ML solutions
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Python
• Strong experience in Big Data Technologies like Hadoop, Spark or similar platforms
• Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
