Responsibilities:* Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. * Care Plan Implentation * Behavioral Management * Understanding of Dementia- Knowledge of different types of Dementia, their symptoms, and progression to provide appropriate care. * Emotional Support- Building a trusting relationship with those under their care
Qualifications:* Must live 10 miles from Location * Alzheimer's care: 3 years (Required) * Locked Unit Expereince * Must be able to work weekends* Possess patience, sensitivity and compassion for people who have lost the ability to control emotions* Current TB Test* Home Care Aide Certification (Required) * Driver w/ valid car insurance* Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
