Kangaroo Smiles is looking for a dental assistant that would like to work as a receptionist in our lowell office. Our ideal candidate must be very comfortable speaking with people, enjoy being around children all day, is friendly, reliable, and able to follow instruction.

MUST BE A DENTAL ASSISTANT WITH ASSISTING EXPERIENCE

MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9 am-5pm (lunch 1-2pm), occasional Saturdays

Must have a car or reliable transportation. Job training will occur in our Methuen office.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone that walks into our office with a smile, making them feel welcome and important
• Check Patients into our computer system and ask them to fill out paperwork
• Input basic information into charts such as address, phone number....
• Supervise the waiting room ensuring it is kept clean and tidy at all times throughout the day
• Schedule patients next appointments as needed. Must follow basic established office rules and protocols
• Scan paperwork into patients charts
• Take payments and input into patients charts
• Input patients insurance information as needed
• Must be able to repeat established office scripts to commonly asked questions.
• Communicate with Office Managers
• Update odontograms, help with chart notes, go over treatment plans with parents

Qualifications

• upbeat, happy and personable attitude.
• Must understand how to calmly speak with parents in difficult situations or when they are upset
•  Experience in a pediatric dental office is preferred
• Must understand different xray types, dental materials/supplies,
