Digital Assets Manager – The Wolfsonian, Florida International University Digital Assets Manager The Wolfsonian–Florida International University seeks an experienced Digital Assets Manager to join their team of professionals. The position is responsible for all operations related to managing the museum’s digital media, including organizing, storing, and making the museum’s digital assets and associated metadata accessible via the digital catalog. Responsibilities include providing imaging and digital catalog support to the museum’s collections, exhibitions, marketing, library, and programming departments. Work closely with the Metadata Specialist to communicate metadata standards and clean-up needs and develop long-range plans for efficient and sustainable digital asset and collection information archiving. As the museum grows and evolves, you will lend your expertise to the inclusion of new forms of media onto the digital catalog platform, such as video and 3D imaging, and the implementation of Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF), hOCR (HTML Optical Character Recognition), and open access protocols.
