Job Summary

The Director of Event Operations , reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, manages the day-to-day operations of a Company conference center account. The role requires excellent communication skills, multi-tasking ability, strong team leadership, client relations, and a focus on delivering superior service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all P&L and budgeting related to the account
  • Manage daily operations of the account
  • Handle HR functions including hiring, counseling, and terminations
  • Supervise scheduling, payroll, and team training
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers, guests, clients, and other departments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, hospitality preferred
  • At least five years of experience in events or conference center management
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategizing skills
  • Experience managing a budget
  • High standards of personal integrity and ethics
  • Desire to grow within a top hospitality company
