We are currently assisting our client with a Director of Manufacturing Engineering near Columbus, OH. This Director will lead and mentor a team of engineers in manufacturing, navigating project priorities, and continuous improvement. The qualified candidate will have extensive experience in creating long-term performance strategy, developing the skills of a team of engineers, and can thrive in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide communication and reporting on department progress/results toward divisional goals.
• Oversee APQP activities, engineering launches, and ongoing engineering changes for customer programs.
• Provide guidance, instruction, and leadership to department managers and team members.
• Implement 5S principles to maintain clean and organized workspaces.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 10+ years of Progressive Management experience
• Knowledge in one of the following: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
