Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Sales Director with 7–10 years of experience in the furniture industry , specifically focused on trade clients, designers, and contract manufacturing . This role will lead sales strategy and execution across multiple markets, managing key client relationships and driving revenue through B2B channels. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in growing sales through industry partnerships, understands the nuances of made-to-order and volume-based production, and is highly skilled at managing complex sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for trade and contract markets across North America (and globally, if applicable).
  • Manage and grow key accounts including interior designers, architecture firms, hospitality groups, and commercial buyers.
  • Manage wholesale accounts and assist in the rollout of Ganti showrooms
  • Identify and build new business opportunities in the contract manufacturing space to build out Gantri’s new proprietary product (Gantri Made)
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and proposal development to closing and post-sale support.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a small sales team and external sales reps, establishing KPIs and performance goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and production teams to ensure alignment on product development and client needs.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
Qualifications
  • 7–10 years of progressive sales experience in the furniture industry , with a focus on trade, commercial, or contract manufacturing .
  • Strong relationships with designers, architects, dealers, furniture/lighting brands, specifiers, and commercial project buyers.
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, lead times, pricing models, and logistics in a made-to-order environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale sales operations in a growing company.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with hospitality or corporate furniture contracts.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and certifications in commercial furniture.
  • Background in custom furniture or modular systems is a plus.

$160,000 - $200,000 a year

Compensation: Salary + performance-based bonus + benefits (health, 401k, PTO)
