Scope/Key Responsibilities • Provide technical consulting and enablement to internal teams on using Dynatrace effectively.
• Guide teams in building dashboards, alerts, and service flow mappings aligned to engineering needs.
• Help teams craft complex DQL queries to extract meaningful insights from telemetry data.
• Support observability design and migration efforts from Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch to Dynatrace.
• Advise on RBAC models and data access strategies based on team structure and security requirements.
• Assist in monitoring strategy for Kubernetes-based workloads, especially in hybrid environments.
• Promote adoption of observability-as-code using tools like Terraform, GitLab, or other IaC frameworks.
• Contribute to reusable patterns, documentation, and internal enablement materials for engineering teams.
Specific Skills: • Hands-on experience with Dynatrace platform, especially in consulting, onboarding, or solution design roles.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) queries.
• Strong understanding of hybrid infrastructure (cloud + on-prem) and modern application stacks.
• Solid grasp of Kubernetes architecture; real-world experience in monitoring K8s with Dynatrace is highly preferred.
• Expertise in deployment of Dynatrace one Agents on Kubernetes environment
• Should have clear understanding of working with Dynatrace capabilities to organize and group hosts, processes
• Should have good understanding of Dynatrace capabilities in managing RBAC
• Experience and creativity to understand the pain points of different stakeholders and create impactful Dynatrace dashboards for SREs and developers.
• Well versed with Dynatrace capabilities in alert detection , alert correlation using AI Davis to create alerting configuration which reduces noise and are high precision alerts
