We’re seeking a motivated and detail-driven Estimator to join our growing team in Savannah, GA. In this key role, you’ll play an integral part in preconstruction and project delivery preparing precise cost estimates, managing bid packages, and collaborating closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure every project is delivered with accuracy and excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Develop comprehensive bid packages, including quantity takeoffs, labor and material costs, and subcontractor scopes.
- Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates across multiple disciplines.
- Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing to support bid accuracy.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather critical project data.
- Prepare, track, and manage change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, budgets, and forecasts.
- Collaborate with field teams, clients, and vendors to ensure alignment on costs, changes, and deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and follow-up.
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar preconstruction role.
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and estimating principles.
- Proficiency with estimating software , Excel , and project management tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset and commitment to quality.
