ELEVATOR TECHNICIAN
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Elevator Maintenance Mechanic located in Colorado Springs, CO. The Elevator Technician will be responsible for maintenance of hydraulic and/or traction elevators according to industry codes and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Elevator Mechanic License through the State of Colorado required
- Completed technical school coursework in elevator repair, or equivalent on-the-job experience
- Thorough understanding of electrical and electronic control systems
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and other Elevator Mechanics as needed
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check and drug testing
- Must be able to work well independently or as part of a team
- OSHA, state, and local certification and licensing preferred
