Job Description
We are working with a client who is seeking experienced Elevator Service Technicians to join their team in the Orlando/Daytona area . The company is dedicated to providing exceptional service by maintaining, repairing, and modernizing elevators in both private and public infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical & Electrical Repairs : Service, repair, adjust, and test elevators and related equipment using mechanical and electrical principles.
- Attention to Detail : Monitor and evaluate elevator performance, identifying and addressing issues promptly to ensure safety and efficiency.
- On-Call Rotation : Participate in scheduled rotations for after-hours emergencies, entrapments, and repairs.
- Independent Work : Manage service tasks efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Fit-for-Duty : Perform all physical requirements of the role independently and effectively.
- Travel Requirements : Be available to travel as necessary, including occasional overnight stays.
- Team Support : Collaborate with repair teams on projects involving heavy lifting or specialized requirements.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an independent Elevator Mechanic/Technician.
- Valid Elevator Mechanic Credentials : State elevator licenses considered with additional experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to meet fit-for-duty requirements, including physical tasks.
- Dedication to safety, precision, and superior customer service.
