Job Description
Pattern Promotions We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position is perfect for individuals looking to kickstart their career in the event planning industry. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in organizing and executing a variety of events, from corporate meetings to social gatherings
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events including corporate meetings, weddings, and social gatherings.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering arrangements, and transportation services.
- Maintain event budgets and assist in tracking expenses to ensure financial accountability.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to confirm services and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Help develop marketing and promotional materials to attract attendees and enhance event visibility.
- Support the team with on-site event management, ensuring that all activities run as planned.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with basic event planning software and tools is a plus.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
