Job Title: Healthcare Support - Wellness Navigator
Job Description

Join our team as a Healthcare Support - Wellness Navigator, where you will play a vital role in community outreach and patient support. Engage with local schools, churches, nonprofits, and organizations to raise awareness of our services. Assist individuals and families in accessing community services, schedule appointments for low-cost or free programs, and facilitate enrollment in Medi-Cal and Covered California.

Responsibilities

• Engage with schools, churches, nonprofits, and local organizations to promote awareness of services.
• Assist individuals and families with referrals to community services.
• Schedule appointments for low-cost or free programs, such as CHDP, Family PACT, and EyePACS.
• Support Medi-Cal and Covered California enrollment processes.
• Create flyers and maintain departmental statistics.
• Represent the organization at community events and meetings.

Essential Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Experience in healthcare, medical assisting, or related fields.
• Proficiency in scheduling and appointment management.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Minimum of 6 months of healthcare experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assisting diploma or CNA license preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records.

Work Environment

Work in a call center environment, equipped with a headset. Join a large medical group that offers growth opportunities and a robust training program.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Barbara, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr.
