Position Title: Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager
Location: Brookville, IN (with responsibility for multiple facilities)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety efforts across three operational facilities. This role is deeply embedded in the day-to-day activity on the production floor, driving continuous improvements in safety culture, compliance, and risk mitigation. The EHS Manager will develop, implement, and maintain safety and environmental protocols aligned with regulatory standards and internal performance goals.

- Strong hands-on background in a manufacturing environment

- Comfortable leading training and educating employees at all levels
Required Experience
- 10+ years working within industrial or manufacturing settings
- Minimum 5 years in an EHS-focused position
Primary Responsibilities
Occupational Health & Safety
- Create and enforce company-wide safety policies and procedures
- Conduct daily walkthroughs and safety assessments across plant operations
- Partner with teams to proactively resolve unsafe conditions and enhance operational safety
- Lead all training initiatives related to health and safety practices
- Coordinate with third-party experts to oversee hygiene assessments (e.g., noise levels, air sampling)
- Investigate incidents, track corrective actions, and manage safety documentation
- Oversee emergency response plans and conduct readiness drills
- Evaluate existing systems and designs for risk, recommending mitigations
- Ensure ongoing compliance with OSHA and relevant federal/state/local standards
- Act as a change agent to embed a culture of safety at every level
Environmental Compliance
- Partner with environmental consultants to uphold regulatory obligations
- Monitor and maintain programs such as:
- Air Emissions Permits
- Spill Control and Response Plans
- Stormwater Management
- Ensure all required logs, reports, and inspection records are up-to-date and accurate
