Who We’re Looking For: A motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts well to change. You should possess excellent organizational skills and a strong commitment to customer service and safety. Candidates must be able to work with minimal supervision, learn quickly, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree in a Science-related field is desired.

Experience:

• 2 to 5 years in the industry, with a focus on asbestos, lead, water intrusion, indoor air quality, mold/moisture inspections.

Skills:

• Excellent communication
• Client management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Certifications:

• Asbestos: PA Asbestos Inspector, Phila. ACM Investigator, Phila. API, NJ AST, DE Project Monitor licensing or ability to obtain preferred.
• Lead: NJ and PA Inspector/Assessor or ability to obtain preferred.
• Additional certifications like CHMM, 40 Hour HAZWOPER, and CIE/CMI are desirable but not required.

Other Requirements:

• Mastery of the English language – written and spoken.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Frequent travel required.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally work at heights greater than 6 feet (examples: ladders, rooftops, man-lifts, scaffolding).
• Ability to occasionally work in confined spaces (examples: crawlspaces, attics).
• Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to walk up/down multiple flights of stairs.
• Ability to complete all mandatory trainings, including safety training.
• Availability for off-hour emergency work.
• Respond as a member of the Hillmann 24-hour disaster response team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform air, surface, and water sampling.
• Conduct thorough investigations related to Industrial Hygiene, including indoor air quality, mold/moisture inspections, asbestos surveys, and lead-based paint inspections.
• Prepare technical reports and ensure compliance with industry guidelines.
• Maintain certifications and licenses.
• Respond to client emergencies as needed.
