Job Description

A fast-paced, mission-driven non-profit organization is seeking a proactive and experienced Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as a trusted right hand. Key Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant to the CEO:

  • Manage the CEO’s fast-paced and ever-evolving calendar, expertly coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, and special events.
  • Serve as a trusted gatekeeper and liaison, facilitating clear, timely communication between the CEO and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft, edit, and polish high-level correspondence, reports, and presentations that reflect the CEO’s voice and priorities.
  • Support board engagement by coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Lead key projects and strategic initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and goals.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive information with the utmost professionalism.
  • Anticipate the CEO’s needs and proactively resolve issues, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Qualifications of the Executive Assistant to the CEO:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting C-level leadership.
  • Prior experience in a non-profit organization is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional presence.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A master multitasker with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining precision and efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high level of professionalism, discretion, and a proactive mindset.
