About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its North Texas Region. This pivotal role is the face of the organization in the local community, with a focus on blood sponsor relationship management, fundraising, and leading the local Board of Directors. The successful candidate will be responsible for dynamic leadership, building transformative relationships, and championing an influential Board of Directors. The Executive Director will also be expected to inspire strategic and influential leadership, create a culture of inclusion and belonging, and spearhead visionary chapter planning. While the position does not involve direct operational responsibilities, it is essential for the Executive Director to be able to influence community and government stakeholders and work towards specific goals. Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a four-year college degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Master's degree, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience. The role requires strong communication, influencing, and public speaking skills, as well as a proven track record in fundraising and building community partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local issues, cultures, and demographics, and a proven ability to engage with local community members and organizations. Experience in a flexible, change-managed environment, and proficiency in MS Office is also necessary. The Executive Director will be part of the Texas Leadership Team and must be prepared for regional travel and the possibility of being on 24-hour call during major disasters.
