About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its SCSE Chapter in Oklahoma. This pivotal role is the face of the organization in the local community, with a primary focus on blood sponsor relationship management, fundraising, and leading a team of volunteer Community Volunteer Leaders. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and blood collection goals, with a strong emphasis on blood collection. The Executive Director will also be tasked with developing and managing the local Board of Directors, and United Way relationships, and will be expected to influence community and government stakeholders to support the organization's mission. Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a four-year college degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Master's degree, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience. The role requires strong communication, influencing, and public speaking skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of engaging with local community members and organizations, a deep understanding of local issues and demographics, and experience in influencing governmental stakeholders. The Executive Director will be expected to work in a flexible environment, manage change, and be proficient in MS Office. Travel within the region and occasional national travel may be required.
