About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Painter to join our team at Columbus Auto Group Body Shop. As an Auto Body Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are painted to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with our team of technicians to ensure that all vehicles are repaired and painted in a timely and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical to the success of our team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an Auto Body Painter
• Ability to match paint colors to the original color of the vehicle
• Experience using a spray gun to apply paint
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a collision repair center
• Certification in Auto Body Painting
• Experience with waterborne paint systems

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and masking
• Mix paint to match the original color of the vehicle
• Apply paint to vehicles using a spray gun
• Ensure that all painted surfaces are free from imperfections
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

As an Auto Body Painter, you will use your skills in color matching, surface preparation, and paint application on a daily basis. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that all vehicles are painted to the highest standards. Additionally, your ability to work efficiently and effectively with our team of technicians will be critical to the success of our team.
