DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts chart audits/electronically file as requested at both the EID/Naomi's Nest Locations, generally weekly, including both urine reports and activity grids.
- Closeout charts as needed.
- Maintains adequate number of forms for staff use.
- Faxes all reports (such as month-end probation reports) as needed.
- Prepares follow-up contact sheets with needed information from consent form.
- Box and label all close-outs at the end of the calendar year for storage.
- Assist Monitors on duty as needed.
- Scanning documents electronically in FYI data base as necessary.
- Scanning client file documents into Dropbox.
- Respond to and track all MDOC Referrals, Authorizations, Daily Reports, etc.
- Other duties as deemed necessary by the Administrator, Executive Director or Clinical Supervisor.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as record keeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must Have GED or high school diploma. Some College preferred.
- Must be able to handle crisis situation in a calm and collected manner.
- Must have good organization skills and be able to handle large volumes of work and various tasks simultaneously.
- If in recovery, must have (2) years continuous sobriety and abstinence.
- Must possess current driver's license and auto insurance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to continuously stand or walk.
- Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
