Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Operations Analyst for a Contract to Hire position in downtown Baltimore.
Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for managing global cash transactions, focusing on secure, compliant money movements
Oversee and execute client cash processing, including Fed wires, ACH, checks, and client collateral loans
Enforce fraud prevention measures and ensure adherence to AML/KYC regulations
Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Compliance, IT) to improve cash management processes
Ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in finance in an operations capacity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
This is a long term contract to hire opportunity, on-site five days/week in Baltimore,
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or related field preferred
-Experience (Internship or otherwise) in Financial Services, Private Equity, Venture Capital or Alternative Assets helpful
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel helpful
- Demonstrated analytical, evaluative, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities.
- Effective in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong decision-making, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
