Job Description

Randstad's client, a leader in the truck rental industry, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee operations at their Garden City location. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in vehicle maintenance preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Knowledge of truck maintenance, repair procedures, and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
• Proficient in the use of fleet management software and MS Office Suite.
• ASE certification or other relevant certifications is a plus.

salary: $90,000 - $95,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the maintenance team, ensuring all vehicles are serviced and maintained in compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance, repairs, and inspections for the fleet of trucks, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules to maximize vehicle reliability.
• Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and within budget constraints.
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee parts inventory and procurement, ensuring that necessary components are available when needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient fleet management.
• Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
